Tagged...

Thanks to Lu I guess that I have to come up with some answers about myself so here it goes...

3 Joys...
1. Probably the one thing that brings me the most joy is my family.
2. And to all of you others out there namely my friends, yes you bring me joy to.
3. Crafting, I really enjoy doing thing with my hands, and seeing the creation at the end.

3 Fears...
1. I have to agree with Lu, Grasshoppers. I have for years thought that they are just the most revolting thing out there. The way they just randomly jump out at you ahhh.
2. Pregnancy, I know I know how could I think that this is scary. Probably because I am really comfortable in my life right now, so I guess if I were to get pregnant I would probably freck out for about one day and then I would move on.
3. Loss of a loved one, who wouldn't fear this.

3 Goals...
1. Making it through another school year
2. I would love to build my clientelle in my salon. Now that Trevin will be in school all day and Teagan is in preschool why not.
3. Be more patient with everything in my life.

3 Obsessions...
1. Coke, I know this is pretty sad but I just function better with one.
2. Telephone, I have to get in all the days gossip while I can.
3. Friends, I for some reason feel the need to check in on everyone randomly and make sure all is well I hope it isn't to annoying.

3 Random Facts....
1. I weighed 11 lbs 3 oz when I was born ( my poor mother ).
2. I really like ketchup on leftover Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches. ( I learned this from my Grandpa Greenhalgh).
3. My favorite treat is a Apple pie carmel apple from the rocky mountain chocolate factory (good thing there isn't one closer than orem or I would be in trouble).

California Adventure

So we returned to California Adventure on Monday our last full day in California and our kids liked it a lot better than Disneyland. I think this is because the characters at California Adventure are the more modern characters like Monsters inc and Bugs Life.
All Teagan wanted to do the whole time we were there was see the princesses so I forked out the money and took her to Arials Grotto for lunch. We were able to meet all the princesses and eat lunch with them to, Jay was a little jealous when we met back up because I indulged in a Long Island ice tea and was more relaxed so I guess I was dealing with the whining better. At the end of the day we went into one of the Stores and Jay bought us all some mementos to take home with us. All in all this was a pretty good vacation. Everyone had a great time and we all got along really well. Plus we were able to spend some time with our good friends and neighbors the Puglseys. Thanks so much once again for all the hospitality we won't forget this vacation ever.

Manhatten Beach

On Sunday we went to Manhattan Beach, this was probably the funnest place for the kids. They loved playing in the sand and the ocean. I on the other hand just like sitting on my beach towel and soaking up some sun ( I know sun cancer I wore 30 spf the whole time). What we didn't plan on was that they were having a volleyball tournament that day so there were tons of people there, oh well we still enjoyed ourselves.

Santa Monica Pier

Saturday night after Curtis returned from work we went to Santa Monica Pier. This was a pretty cool experience for Jay and the kid, they had never been on a big pier like that before. We walked up and down and let the kids play some of the game at the arcade then we went to Bubba Gumps for dinner. The food was fabulous and they make a mean Pomegranate Margarita.

China Town and Hollywood

Me and the kids in China town. We went and ate at a authentic restaurant there and Trevin learned how to use chop sticks. The food was great and we found some really fun buys.

During our vacation Jay and I celebrated our 10 year reunion, so one night Heidi took our kids and sent us out on the town. We ended up in Hollywood, we figured that this was one place that our kids wouldn't really enjoy and neither of us had ever been there before. We went to dinner and then walk up and down the Hollywood star studded walk of fame. I tell you what you haven't seen anything until you venture out after 10:00 p.m. in Hollywood. We saw everything from Spiderman to some dude wearing fish net tights with no underwear. We even got as adventurous as to go into a tattoo parlor, I do have to say they were really nice to us once Jay bought a lighter. All in all it was a great time, thank Heidi for putting up with our little rascals.

Disneyland

We were lucky enough to be invited by some of our friends to come out to California and visit this summer. We thought that it would be a good time to take the kids to Disneyland and since we didn't have to pay for lodging we would take advantage of the opportunity. Jay and I were so excited to take them to Disneyland and see there reactions, but low and behold we found out very quickly that they really didn't like it very much. We spend half of the day trying to convince them to stay and all they wanted to do was go back to the Pugsleys and play on there little blow up raft. So after about 6 hours we gave in and left.
