Easter 2008

Easter was once again a great time for our family. It is always so good to spend time with family and remember how important we are to each other. The kids of course joined in on several different easter egg hunts and are still eating easter candy ( as am I ). We also went to St. George and soaked up some well deserved sun. ( I know we just got back from mexico, but what can I say I quess I'm stingy). On sunday night after returning home we went up to my mom and dads and the kids got even more treats along with a special message to my brother-in-law. Recently while driving down the freeway he was hit by a semi truck, since the accident he has been having severe migraine headaches, on easter sunday he woke up and couldn't speak properly. My dad and other brother-in-law gave him a blessing hoping all would turn out well before they took him into the emergency room. This has been a very hard time for my sister and her family and sitting in that room on Easter night you could feel the love and faith surround all of us, it reminded me just what Easter is all about. I know we sometimes get caught up in the commercialism of the holiday and it is just good to get back to the basics. My brother-in-law is still having some trouble but they are currently seeing a neurologist in hopes that they can find out what is happening. We are all hoping for some kind of answer so we can get him on the road to recovery.

Fun pics! I am stingy when it comes to the sun as well! Thanks for the invite to the blog. I always try and keep up with the "Jones'", so it is great to see what you guys are up to! :)
