The big Day

Kindergarten gradutaion has finally arrived and I know that I probably seem like that over bearing mother that would drive you crazy, but I actually kept tearing up through the whole program. I'm not sure if it was because my little boy is growing up or that I sat and watched his teacher struggle with her emotions the whole time. A week and a half ago she gave birth to a still born baby girl that she had carried full term. I can't even imagine how she felt to not only have lost her little angel but then to have to say good bye to all her students. Hats off to her to have the strength to show up and show all those little kindergateners how important this day was.

After gradutaion we went to Brick oven restaurant and celebrated. Tevin also caught his aunt Misti with a fork up her nose. (haha)

First camping trip of the year.

Trevin was so excited about roasting marshmellows we couldn't keep him out of the fire. We kept telling him how dangerous fire can be. But he seems to be a little piro maniac. (Note to self, dont' leave anything flammable around or we might just have a problem..) Although he says he understands and he was quite responsible about the whole thing we will just have to keep our fingers crossed that nothing bad happens. These boys there just totally crazy!

Jay can't wait for the weather to finally warm up enought to take the trailer out for the first camping trip of the year. This year it was about 50 degrees but luckly all the snow was off the ground on the side of the mountain we were on. The kids had a total blast and so did Jay, as for me I'm not so sure. Spending 2 days in a trailer the size of a cubical with 4 people and 2 dogs just make me plan nuts.

Hogle Zoo

First day of Spring break and I thought that I would try and make it fun for the kids, so we went up to Salt lake to the Hogle Zoo with the Peterson family. The weather was just great and all of the animals were pretty active. We arrived right at 9:00 so by the time we were ready to leave it had just started to get busy. We had a ton of fun, are only regret was that Jay couldn't be there with us. Oh well duty calls I guess someone has to be the responsible one around her!

The Big Guy

Okay I couldn't resist, we got the wagon down for the first time this year and I decided to take copper for a ride. I know he just loved it after all being 80 lbs. can be hard on a old dog like him.

3 years old already...

So I can hardly believe that my little girl is already three. It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital, oh how time flies. We celebrated with a big family party on Saturday and we lucked out, the weather was just beautiful and the kids all had fun running around outside in the sunshine. We can't begin to tell everyone thank you for all the fun gifts that she recieved. We are so blessed to have such good family and friends that could join us for this special event. Of course the Barbie head was the best gift of all ( she had been asking for one since before Christmas) she has played with it every day since non stop. Congratulation Teagan on finally turning three.

Animal Farm

On Friday we went to Thanksgiving point with Trevins kindergarten class. It was so much fun, we even got to ride on a big yellow bus. His favorite animal was of course the big bull with the big horns.

Who's Bigger?

I loved this picture it just makes me laugh. Although Trevin is almost 3 years older his little sister is growing like a weed. She will soon be 3 and is already wearing 4T clothing, I am sure by the end of the summer she will be in a 5T which is the current size her big brother is wearing. We just keep reminding are little guy that it doesn't matter how big he is he, he will still always be the older brother.
